My co-worker was off today at work, so Sayble and I were able to keep busy all day. I had a bit of a runny nose and headache this morning, which kinda freaked me out because after all, who wants to go into labor while they are sick? By the end of the day, however, my nose had dried up and the headache was gone. I've been drinking plenty of water and eating Vitamin C-ful fruits, so hopefully I'll be A-okay for the big day.
Tonight was also the finale for "So You Think You Can Dance" and though I was a bit surprised that Travis did not win, I am glad that the winner was a deserving person like Benji. I would like to see him in the Celine Dion "A New Day" show though, that would be quite interesting to see how a swing dancer fits in. Well, I have never been to Las Vegas before AND the TV show tour is not coming to Texas, so maybe I can convince Trung to take me to Vegas! What would Lydia do though?
Well, Trung has finally nailed up the diplomas (right) and I personally think they add a nice touch to his office. They had been lying around the house forever (I found Trung's under a humidifier box in his closet) and we figured, the least we can do is frame them, after all, our educations took a good chunk of our money. Also pictured are Trung's IBM patent awards (left), which he received for his first patent submission, his first plateau (4 patents), and his second plateau (4 patents). They came already framed and everything, so we decided just to hang them up to help take up wall space or something.
And here is Trung working into the wee hours of the night in his completed office. The back still is a bit messy, but it's all in preparation for LAN party IV this Saturday (so he tells me). Oh yeah, and this is where the ping pong table used to be. (Notice the patents on the left back wall and a hint of the diplomas on the right, next to the bookshelf)
