The girls had their performance for their second Vacation Bible School today and as always, it was super cute!

Taking the plunge
I got emotional listening to my kids sing this song that I used to sing as a child
After a quick lunch at home, we headed to Skirball Cultural Center to meet up some of Sophie's preschool friends. We had to take a slight detour into the Santa Monica mountains because the main exit from the highway was closed, but we finally made it. Danielle & Morgan were already there, and Kim & Jacob met us soon after we arrived. We had come to the center a couple years back and the girls got bored pretty quickly, so I didn't expect much for this visit. I don't know if it was because of the change in people or because the girls were older, but they had so much fun that we stayed until just before closing. Fortunately, since traffic is busy all day on Fridays, the drive home wasn't too bad.
