After a brunch from a random diner that upset all our stomachs, we drove Northeast just shy of the New Jersey border to Easton to spend the afternoon learning about all things Crayola.
The kids would draw on these monitors and then their drawings would come to life projected off a wall.
These are the sea creatures that Sophie drew
See if you can find them before they disappear!
We learned how markers are made
We also saw how crayons are made during a mini presentation and then got to make up our own crayon names.
We took turns taking pictures of ourselves and printing them onto color-able sheets
Peace!
In the dark room, the girls danced as crayon character and drew on a black lite screen.
On the third floor, we discovered "Water Works", where the girls floated crayon-shaped boats through 85 feet of various waterways. Lydia was about to start her fourth round when I had to remind her that we hadn't even gone to the fourth floor yet.
We each received a brand new red crayon after the crayon-making demonstration.
Lydia waiting impatiently for her crayon ring to harden
Father and daughters concentrating on their doughy shapes
We stayed until closing and snapped this quick picture on our way out.
What a wonderful place and just perfect for any kid that love to draw!
The monument in the "circle"...Easton is such a cute little city and I would totally come back.
Trung having some ale at an Alehouse across the street from Crayola Experience. The food was tasty and everyone enjoyed their meals...the kids even liked their mac and cheese using goat cheese.
Mommy wanted something sweet, so we slipped into an alley and right into this creamery for some unique flavored ice cream. I got green tea mochi and something amaretto...totally delish!
