The day started off just like any other day and soon I was dropping Dominic and Sophie off at school. Afterwards, I swung by Veggie Grill for my free birthday meal. I had a late breakfast and wasn't too hungry, so I ordered their best-selling kale salad with blackened chicken, which hit the spot. Then I zipped over to the nail salon to give my nails some much needed TLC. Too bad I decided to switch to flats on this cool winter day and smudge my big toes, which warranted another trip to the salon. But when?
I picked up Lydia from school, then Sophie, and headed straight to dance class. Today was triple points day at M Street, so we had a quick dinner there before visiting Yogurtland for their free yogurt day. Finally, I made it back to the nail salon, but I had to drag along the girls. They kept themselves busy telling each other which polish colors they liked and then rolling around in the chairs. I promised them that I would bring them back to get their nails done if they stop biting their nails, so we'll see about that.
A full class and Sophie's last day of dance. Swim lessons start up in a few short weeks.
Enjoying our yogurt before the rush; the line went out the door.
Phuong fixing my big toes.
Horsing around and entertaining the other customers.
