Leaving Las Vegas

We slept in again this morning since we had a late night (waiting forever for dinner).  Trung took the girls to Denny's for breakfast while I ate a leftover muffin and hit Fashion Show Mall.  Then they picked me up and we parked at Excalibur, and spent the next few hours walking around and trying to absorb as much Las Vegas as we could.  We ate our last buffet at 3:45, 1/3 of the price of the one from yesterday and about 1/3 of the quality as well, and then we were off.  It was a nice little weekend getaway, but we probably won't be back anytime soon until the kids get used to walking more.

No Christmas tree for us this year, so this will have to do.

Lydia really wanted to go on the roller coaster ride at New York, New York...my little thrill seeker!

I explained that Cleopatra, my Halloween costume, was Egyptian too though the kids still didn't get it.

Good-bye, Las Vegas!  Hello, traffic back to LA.  :(
