Tar & Roses

 Tonight we celebrated our eighth wedding anniversary at Tar & Roses.  I went to the restaurant almost a year ago and had been dying to go back to try the dry aged ribeye for two ever since.  Trung had never been and was happy to try the steak at the elegant restaurant.  We were very pleased with the medium rare steak, which practically melted in your mouth, the accompanying arugula salad, and the grilled sunchokes.  The strawberry crostini and honeycomb ice cream had such rave reviews on Yelp that I had to order it and it was quite good, though the fresh rosemary was different.  Overall, we were pleased with our dining experience and would consider coming back...one day.
