Even though Lydia is not in the same class as Bella this year, our families have remained friends and we were still invited to Bella's birthday party this year. The venue was the local bowling alley, where we only go once every six months or so. The girls have improved tremendously since the last time they bowled though, both using the correct techniques instead of kicking or rolling the ball with both hands.
Bella and Sophie found a way to entertain themselves while waiting for their turns to bowl.
Who says you have to bowl at a bowling alley?

After resting at home for a few hours, we met Guro & family and her friend Saki with her son at Hummus Factory for dinner. Afterwards, we went to GLOW, an all-night cultural experience, which we found to be just okay, but at least the kids had fun playing in the sand.
