Super Bowl Birthday

Sophie and I joined Mike to get haircuts in Little Saigon first thing in the morning. Sophie got her first haircut by a professional and was not very happy about the special attention. Fortunately, snacking on a granola bar made the experience more bearable. Mike and Sophie went to pick up lunch while I got my hair trimmed. The stylist found a white hair, one for my 31st birthday; I'm sure more will follow.

Bye bye, mullet!

Thank goodness for granola bars

We had lunch when we got back to Mike's place and kept the kids busy until right before the kick-off of the Super Bowl. Sophie didn't sleep very long, but Lydia slept until almost half-time. Though the Steelers lost, we showed our spirit and will continue to support them. :)

Keeping the girls busy, so Trung and I could watch the game

The girls were so happy to see my Dad, in town for a church conference in LA.

We're still here for you, Steelers!

Once the game ended, we quickly packed up and drove over to a Chinese Restaurant to celebrate Chinese New Year with my aunt and her family, Minji and her family, and my Dad. We had a feast and were stuffed, but saved just enough room for dessert.

What a memorable birthday!
